+ guilty pleasure
I am a thrifter to the max! I have a few pieces from my grandparent’s farm that dates back to the early 1900s! Spending a Saturday morning searching for rugs, wool/fur jackets, old cameras, antique trunks is my favorite, especially when you find stuff hidden inside!
+ it all started at a young age
I started my photography journey when I was 11 with a small camera my parents gave me for Christmas. While it only held about 30 photos, I would spend hours roaming our ranch for that perfect picture to make each shot count.
+ bet you didn't know
I grew up riding horses and am a horse gal through and through. I rode on the collegiate team at Utah State University traveling to horse shows in Utah, Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming. Fun fact: I was even the Rodeo Queen for my county fair!
+ the best summer of my life
It was spent in Guatemala on a medical mission. We spent our days traveling by bus to all the clinics and remote villages giving the children vaccinations and providing medical care. On the weekends, we zip lined through the jungle, climbed an active volcano, and explored ancient Mayan pyramids. Unforgettable!
+ life outside of photography
I am a HUGE animal lover. My husband and I raise beef cattle in Southeast Idaho as well as our two horses, two cats, and hopefully many more animals to come!

I LOVE exploring! One of my top 3 bucket list items is to show up to the airport and book a ticket to a place I’ve never been. I don’t want the touristy part of a vacation - I’m all about authenticity and experiencing the culture.

life outside of photography
Our pasts are a huge part of who we have become today. We either love where we have been or we are motivated to change things and make them better. As a mother of two rambunctious kids whom I love, I have also grown to love my alone time. Those quiet moments after the husband and kids have gone to bed and I can enjoy a bowl of cookie dough ice cream while watching my favorite tv show or reading a book. It gives me that time look at my life and see if I like the path I am on.
I think that is why I love having a camera in my hands. To document. To dive deeper than surface level and find that emotion. To remember the good times. Sitting by my fireplace with a cozy, crackling fire sifting through old photographs of childhood or my grandparents wedding album is one of my favorite things. Memory sometimes fails us but all it takes in one photograph to start a flood of memories to come back.
Life is meant to be lived! If you find joy in the simple things, trying new adventures and are always down for some good food, then I am pretty sure we will be best friends! I am all about surrounding myself with people who excited about life and chasing their dreams!
